Dear God,
As we wait patiently and listen quietly for the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
Please help us to be satisfied with everything you have given to us.
Help us to realize the importance of bringing our children to church and Sunday school to teach them to live the life you want them to have.
Thank you for giving us personal choice. Help us to choose according to your will.
In our differences with one another, help us to realize the importance of these differences so that you may work through us to serve you and each other in the individual ways we can.
In our differences with one another, help us not to perceive or judge people before we have gotten to know them through fellowship.
In our differences with one another, help us to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in love toward fellowship.
Thank you for your gift of prayer and for the powerful working of the Holy Spirit in each of us.
